Last
year's 50th anniversary of the
Henley-on-Todd was a very special event with a great time had by all including
us here at AusEmade... The
ASSA ABLOY Henley-On-Todd Regatta
is one of the most unique boat races in the world — held as it is on the
Todd River, the
main river through Alice Springs
in
Central Australia. Indeed, it is the only boat race in the world that has
been cancelled due to water.

The sun shone on the 50th Henley-On-Todd Regatta and we were there early to
give a helping hand... what a day it was. Ours truly here at AusEmade had great fun, enjoying
the frivolity, competitions, battles and friendship. This is the Territory’s longest running iconic event
and offers the chance of anyone attending to enter in any one of the the boating
inspired races.
So if you are planning to visit our beautiful outback town of
Alice Springs in the heart of Central Australia, make sure you book your travel
itinerary early and if you use a travel agent, make sure they include the big
day in your itinerary.
