Goodenia vilmoriniae is a small silky haired herb with flowers usually in clusters on erect stalks. The flowers range from blue to lilac in colour. The flower stem rise out of a basal (at the base of) rosette of leaves with fine glandular hairs on the stalks and underside of the linear shaped leaves.
