Travelling the Central Australia region means travelling vast distances, with
only the flora and fauna and other passing motorist as company. It is in
these regions that the roadhouse come into their own, offering the traveler a
welcome relief, where they can stop and stretch their legs, purchase provisions
and in most cases, enjoy the local hospitality and stock up on supplies. Some of
them may even have local arts and craft on sale. Some roadhouse may even
