Located just 130 km south-west of Darwin on Bynoe Harbour, Crab Claw is an island at high tide. It is approximately 1 hours drive from Darwin or by an even shorter plane ride. An ideal spot for Barramundi, Threadfin Salmon, Jewfish, Trevally, Mangrove Jack, as well as a variety of reef fish, and the elusive Sailfish. With over 30 species of fish, you may want time out to catch one of the monster Mud Crabs. There are guides available, as well as a number of fishing packages from local services. Check out the links below. There is a Balinese style fishing village located on the waters edge of Bynoe Harbour, with an open style restaurant and bar to catch the cool sea breeze. The resort offers a choice of accommodation. With most buildings on stilts, it is typical of an Indonesian fishing village, offering choices of accommodation including cabins on stilts, camping and on-site tents.
