Roadhouse of the Northern Territory - Cities, Towns and Localities |
|
The Northern Territory Roadhouse offers the traveller a welcome respite, a
place where you can often get provisions, fuel, a bite to eat, a cold one and a
toilet break. After endless kilometres of sun and dust, it provides for a
welcomed relief and a place to stretch your legs after sitting cramped in your
vehicle. Some of them even offer varying standards of accommodation, from free camping to the motel style rooms.
Those travelling along the Stuart Highway, running through the centre of
Australia from Port Augusta in the south to Darwin in the north,
will find a number of rest stops with facilities. Adelaide in the south to
Darwin in the north, some 3,026 km we bring for you the list of roadhouse and
stops along the way, as well as roadhouses along other routes within the
Northern Territory. |
