This iconic Centralian event is one of the most unique boat races in the world - held as it is on the
Todd River, the
main river through
Central Australia. Indeed, it is the only boat race in the world that has
been cancelled due to water. This is the Territory's longest running iconic
event and offers the chance of anyone attending to enter in any one of the the
boating inspired races.
The 'Bath Tub Derby' is one of those great races when you 4 man crew carry
bath carry you in a bath tub from the start line to a turning buoy where it is
filled with a buckets of water, and is then carried back to the finishing line.
