For those seeking pet friendly accommodation, there are a range of options from farmstays
to self-contained apartments and cottages. Some providers only permit pets
outside, whilst others may allow you to have your pets inside. Some venues such as camping and caravan parks, allow pets at certain times of
the year and under certain conditions.
Where ever you want to stay, you should always contact them to clarify that
they will allow you to bring your pet.
And remember, always keep your pets under control. Clean up their mess
afterwards. Be responsible for any damages caused by your pets. Do not spoil it
for other pet owners who follow you. |

Broadleys is a large open plan house located over 3 levels. The top floor has 2
bedrooms, 1 bathroom and the living areas, kitchen and large deck with ocean
views. This level is child friendly with a gate to the staircase. The second
level has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and the laundry and the bottom level is a large

Located on beautiful Stradbroke Island, Broadleys, is a perfect holiday haven.
Enjoy the spectacular birdlife from the veranda, marvel at the dolphins in the
crystal clear, aqua water and if you are visiting between July and October you
will likely see the whales as they migrate. This really is natures paradise.
Of course if restaurants and coffee shops are more your scene...you can see the

fishing options available. 4WD's can drive on several beaches (with a permit).
You can also launch a boat on the bay side of the island.
There is a lovely 9 hole golf course (with plenty of sand ofcourse), fresh water
lakes to windsurf on, national parks to explore (where you will regularly sight

swimming in crystal clear waters....the best of which is Cylinder Beach. After
all these activities why not pick up some absolutely fresh prawns and a bottle
of wine for lunch and no doubt a long afternoon nap will follow. Broadleys is
the perfect place to getaway from it all.
