Welcome to Tamborine and Mount Tamborine accommodation, Queensland.
Located in the south-east corner of Queensland, are the localities of Tamborine,
North Tamborine and Tamborine Mountain, also known as Mount Tamborine.
Tamborine Mountain is a plateau in the Scenic Rim region, that looks down on the surrounding lowlands,
across the Nerang and Coomera River valleys to the Gold Coast and
Pacific Ocean to the east and over the Albert
River valley and out to the national parks of the Scenic Rim and the Great Dividing Range to the west.
You can also see north to
Moreton Bay and Brisbane or south over Beechmont and out to the
Border Ranges.

Only 35 minutes from the centre of Surfers Paradise,15 minutes from Dreamworld,
Movieworld and Wet and Wild water theme park. Airport transfers from Brisbane
Airport by Air Train to the foot of the mountain then pick up can be arranged.

Hillside a Country Retreat
• TAMBORINE in QLD, Gold Coast
This fabulous and private AAA rated 4 star Retreat is excellent value, has Superb
VIEWS to the OCEAN, and is suitable for couples or families. In a picturesque
setting, landscaped gardens and surrounded by Reserve, Hillside is situated in a
secluded cul-de-sac.
Comprising a Cottage with, “not a neighbour in sight” or our self-contained
Lyrebird Suite, with one or two bedrooms, we offer every comfort. Relax and
enjoy this four star Retreat where country breakfasts, which are served on the
verandas, are made from local produce.
Relax in the Pool and Jacuzzi, set amongst tropical plants and palms, an ideal
place to cool off after exploring the local rainforests. In winter months the
glow of a warm log fire is more inviting.
Children can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
GUMNUT COTTAGE is set amongst the treetops with fabulous views to the Coast.
Newly decorated and carpeted with two bedrooms. A separate lounge beautifully
furnished, with pot belly stove, tv, dvd, video, cd sound system which opens on
to a spacious deck and barbeque. Full kitchen including washing machine. Self
cater in tranquil privacy, just you and the birds. Complimentary tea and
coffee/port/chocolates.
Breakfast Hamper can be arranged upon request for an extra charge.
The LYREBIRD SUITE has a separate entrance in the wing of the house and
comprises one or two comfortable queen bedrooms both en-suite. Separate lounge
with cosy fire, dining area and lovely mountain and garden views. All amenities
with Austar TV, DVD and sound system, a kitchen and dining area. Breakfast
hamper included in tariff. Complimentary tea/coffee/Port and chocolates upon
arrival. On the deck surrounding our pool is a Guest BBQ.
Our ROSE ROOM also has a separate entrance and overlooks the pool. Beautiful
queen room with tv and en-suite bathroom. Adjacent is a kitchenette/sitting room
with fridge and microwave. Tariff includes a cooked breakfast. Complimentary
tea/coffee/port/chocolates.

Although we are pet friendly, we can can only take small to medium dogs and no
puppies, sorry. An additional charge of $10 per night is applicable.
