Bribie Island National Park small unspoilt coastal park on the northern tip of Bribie Island. Campgrounds
are available but only accessible by boat and 4WD. Not accessible during wet
weather. Main areas of interest include the historic World War II
fortifications, aboriginal middens, melaleuca swamps, wallum heath, wetlands and
beaches. Please note the area is home to many species of biting insects take
your insect repellent. Pumicestone Passage separates the island from the
mainland and is included in the Moreton Bay Marine Park please check for
permitted activities in this area and for any fishing restrictions.
