Originally covering some 28,500 ha Brisbane Forest Park has merge into the
D’Aguilar National Park, and at 38,000 hectares making it the largest national
park within 20 kilometres of a capital CBD in Australia. Only 20
minutes drive from Brisbane city and makes for an easily
accessible escape from the bustling city, here you will find
clean crisp mountain air, bird calls, picnic areas,
bushwalks, mountain and valley views, waterholes to swim in,
the information centre, wildlife all around, magnificent
tall eucalypts and lush rainforest all on your doorstep.
In fact there are many different types of facilities here to
suit the needs of different groups of people from school
children to tour groups to the individuals exploring the
bush. Other things to do in the park include horse riding,
mountain bike riding, bird watching, painting and much more.
The park is open every day of the year if your a nature
lover you will be back again and again and again.

park also includes a restaurant for those who like their
