Agnes Water - Cities, Towns and Localities
Agnes Water and the village of Seventeen Seventy are sister townships located on the Discovery Coast, part of the larger Capricorn Coast region.

Fronting onto the Coral Sea, the area offers great aquatic activities including fishing, diving, swimming and surfing, with Agnes Water being the location of the most northern surfing beach in Queensland. As well as some great beaches, the area is surrounded by national parks and an easy distance to the Great Barrier Reef

How to get there
— For those flying in, you can catch flights to either Bundaberg or Gladstone. There is also train that stops at Bundaberg, Gladstone and Miriam Vale.

You can then either hire a car or book onto a Greyhound Bus (Greyhound Australia does coach runs to Agnes Water/1770).

If you are doing a self drive, from the south follow the signs to Bundaberg. After passing through the town of Childers on the Bruce Highway, follow the signs to Agnes Water/1770. If you are travelling from the north, you take a left off the Bruce Highway at Miriam Vale and follow the signs to Agnes Water/1770.
