Known as Coolum Beach, Coolum's main attraction is the wide open beaches with some of the best surf breaks on the Sunshine Coast. Along with the the other nearby beaches of Mudjimba and Marcoola to the south, and Peregian to the north, Coolum Beach provides a great destination for those seeking beachside activities.

There are some great views from the viewing platforms of the rocky headlands of Point Perry and Point Arkwright, across the beaches to other headlands in the distance.

For those seeking more adventurous pursuits, you can try your hand at skydiving, or for something more leisurely, a bit of golf, whilst Mount Coolum provides a great attraction for the bushwalker.
