Cooroy is a pleasant town located just 25km from Noosa
Heads. It also serves as the railhead for the region with
daily rail services to and from Brisbane just 126km to the
south. Settled as a timber and dairy town the area lately
has seen a huge influx of residents escaping the busier
Sunshine Coast region for the more relaxed and rural setting
of this lovely town. With all the big town amenities in or
nearby including recreation activities such as Lake
McDonald, Noosa Botanical Gardens, and nearby National Parks
this area is set to boom. The village of Pomona 10km north
of Cooroy is a wonderful little place with the imposing
