One of the best known islands that cater for children aged
between 6 and 12 years old. It’s a friendly relaxed place for the
entire family and offers a variety of activities including golf,
tennis, water skiing, kayaking parasailing, horse riding, and
bushwalking. Dunk Island also has its own airstrip for access by air
from Cairns or Townsville. Location: 3 km off Mission Beach.
Access: Flights from Cairns and Townsville, ferries and taxis
services from Mission Beach.
Population: Resort accommodates up to 300 guest in the resort.
