Gloucester Islands National Park - Cities, Towns and Localities
Gloucester Islands National Park is just north of Airlie Beach. The Gloucester Group of Islands include Gloucester, being the largest island and also home to the rare Proserpine Rock Wallaby. The water surrounding the islands is also part of a marine park. If going into this area please check what activities is permitted.

The islands are a popular destination, camping is by permit only at Bona Bay and East Side Bay you must book at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. If swimming during the summer months be careful of marine stingers.

Access to the islands is by private or charter boat only.
 

Obtain boat transfer tickets before booking camp site.

Open fires on island national parks or beaches are not permitted.
