Mount Colosseum dominates the landscape around it, only 13km
south of Miriam Vale and covered in eucalypt forest and dry
hoop pine. It provides views out to the Great Barrier Reef
islands and surrounds.
Campsites are available in the park
however there are no visitor facilities such as drinking
water. All supplies must be brought into the park. Mountain
climbing is popular in the park, 4WD driving and
Camping permits must be obtained before
camping in the park.
