Most of the island is managed by the Queensland National Parks and
Wildlife Service, with the exception of the small Orpheus Island
Resort, nestled in the sheltered Hazard Bay on the western mainland
side of the island. The resort has 30 rooms, studios and beach bungalows,
where you can take a stroll to the beach for a lunch time picnic,
relax in front your cabin gently swinging in your hammock, then
prepare to dine under the stars on the jetty. Location:
