Small park covering only 440 ha on a spur of the Great
Dividing Range the park protects the last remnant of
rainforest in the area and ancient eucalypt forest. The area
is a haven for birdwatchers being only 30km from Toowoomba
and providing shelter for many rainforest bird species not
found anywhere else in the region.
Picnic facilities are
available, the park is dedicated day use only therefore no
camping is allowed. There are some walks and lookouts
suitable for all levels of bushwalkers.
