A favourite destination for many
visitors is the Tropical North Queensland region, also referred to
as Far North Queensland.
It is an area that starts as far south as
Orpheus
Island and stretches through a region where the rainforest meets the reef
that encompasses two World Heritage Areas, the Wet Tropic
and the Great Barrier Reef, and all the way along
Cape York Peninsula, to include the islands
north of the peninsula. The region encompasses a myriad of
experiences for the visitor - from world acclaimed Great Barrier Reef and its
tropical islands through to the the lush rainforests, waterfalls, national parks
and world heritage listed areas to the north, including the
Daintree National Park. |
