Queenslands Gold Coast city stretches along 57 km of
glorious beaches and headlands, to provide a fabulous getaway for the
holiday minded. With many attractions for the children, a
world class casino, exhibition and convention centre, a multitude of theme parks, extensive
shopping, glorious national parks, fabulous accommodation, great
nightlife and now an International airport. Today the
city is made up of many smaller suburbs spread over an area
of 1,400 sq km (540 sq miles), with some of the most famous areas including
Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, Nerang,
Bundall, and Southport.
