Accommodation: caravan park that include
40 powered sites,
and ample areas for other caravans and campers. Bush camping in Wywhyana Bush
Camping Ground (Please do not camp in the creek bed as after rain they may
flood).
Other Accommodation: variety of accommodation from lodges, self-contained
cottages, cabins, bunkhouse, shearers quarters.
Facilities:
bore water and limited rainwater available. Amenities block include mens
showers and toilets, womens showers and toilets, laundry with a washing machine
and two sinks (the only dryer we use is mother nature), separate BBQ areas with
gas BBQs, seating and tables (there is also a 240v power outlet if required).
Toilets are provided for those camping in Wywhyana campground (showers available
in the caravan park).
Details: Arkaroola is a 610 sq km
Wilderness Sanctuary located 600 km north of Adelaide and 130 km east of Leigh
Creek. providing camping and caravan accommodation, 4WD tours and
scenic flights.
