Welcome to accommodation Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. The Eyre Peninsula is a vast region stretching from Whyalla in
the east to the West Australia border in the west, a distance of
1,000 km and 400 km in a north-south direction from the Gawler
Ranges to Port Lincoln and an area that is larger than the state of
Tasmania. The Spencer Gulf borders the eastern edge of the Peninsula
where visitors to the region can find sheltered waters, safe
swimming, sandy beaches and excellent fishing. In contrast, the west
coast is exposed to the force of the Southern Ocean and offers some
spectacular coastal scenery, all up there is over 1,600 km of
coastline.
