The hotel of course is the centre of town and the main attraction in the evening, hospitality, great food, and cold beer make for a welcome respite whilst travelling in these remote parts.

There are great camping spots around Innamincka. Cullyamurra Waterhole, Policeman’s Waterhole, Ski Beach and Minkie Waterhole are all popular spots along the creek. Cullyamurra Waterhole has never been known to be dry since first discovered by Sturt in 1845 and is 8km long and up to 28m deep.
