The River Murray rises below Mount Kosciusko in New South Wales, and meanders it’s way across both the Victorian and South Australian state borders. Where the ‘Murray’ crosses the border from Victoria, it continues west and south, flowing pass and through Border Cliffs and Renmark. The region from Paringa, east of Renmark to Blanchetown, including Morgan and Loxton are part of the Riverland region.
