Barossa Small Winemakers Centre
The Barossa Small
Winemakers Centre is a showcase for wines of the Barossas
small independent winemakers. Rare and distinctive wines are
sold here and give visitors to the Chateau access to wines
that are rarely found elsewhere. The centre is housed in the
cellar door sales area at historic Chateau Tanunda, just a
few minutes walk from Tanunda, in the heart of the Barossa
Valley - one of the Worlds premier wine regions.

Charles Melton Wines
Winemaker Charles Melton and
his partner Virginia Weckert have specialised in the
production of limited release, premium red wines made from
Barossa grapes since 1984. It was in the mid 1980s that
Charlie and a small band of Barossa winemakers turned their
winemaking efforts to what was then considered a couple of
unfashionable varieties, Shiraz and Grenache.

Chateau Dorrien Winery Tourism Centre
Over the
years Chateau Dorrien wines have become famous for their
quality and consistency. Founded in 1913 by the Seppelt
family the Dorrien winery is one of the Barossa Valleys
historic landmarks. The building once held over 90 wine
fermentation vats, which were predominantly used for storage
of their wines.

Langmeil Winery
Visitors to the winery today are
able to taste a range of premium wines within the backdrop
of historic buildings and the 1840s vineyard. Recent
vintages have resulted in the processing of approximately
750 tonnes of grapes each year. Much of the processing at
present is on behalf of smaller wineries without crushing
facilities. Currently Langmeil is producing over 12,000
cases of wine annually. As is the current trend in the
industry, premium red wines make up over 80 per cent of its
processing.

Richmond Grove
The winery was established in 1897
and over the past century has undergone many changes, yet it
has always maintained its grandeur and prominence in
producing wines of exceptional quality. At Richmond Grove we
believe that to make the best wine, the grapes must be
selected from the regions most suited to that particular
grape variety. For this reason we source our grapes from
across Australias most renowned wine making districts to
create a portfolio of wines that showcase the distinctive
characters of geographical regions within Australia.
