northern highlands, the rural outback town of Jamestown is in the scenic
The township sits on the Belalie Creek, providing a great place for BBQ
and picnic. Jamestown also provides a great base from which to explore Bundaleer
Forest, located just south of the town.
Visitors can see the town murals on
various buildings in and around Ayr Street. These murals create a visual history
of the development of the town and the changes that have occurred.
