The historic village of Carrick is located on the Meander Valley Highway, less than 20 km south-west of
Launceston and just over 80 km from the
passenger port in Devonport.
Visitors can see examples of heritage listed buildings that date back to the
1800's, that include Carrick Inn (1833), The Old Watchhouse (1837), St Andrews
Church (1848), Balmoral (1851), and the Old Mill House (1867).
