• One of Tasmania's premier events, the Agfest Field Days is a three day event organised by the Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania.

Following on from the success of the first event, Agfest continues to grow, and today is considered on of the major events (certainly the most significant agricultural and regional event) on the Tasmanian calendar.

Agfest is an important part of Rural Youth, not only for funding, but members are given responsibilities and gain experience in everything from marketing to traffic management. Members are encouraged to pursue their interests and develop their talents. There is an informal mentor program that works very well and ensures members have the support they need to take on new positions and challenges. Members use the skills developed to enhance their career prospects and to assist in their local communities. For more information visit the Agfest website www.agfest.com.au.
