There
are 19 national parks sites in Tasmania, of which some are listed here, click
the one you are interested in. If it is not listed here, you can see a list of
national parks at the
Department of Primary
industries Parks and Wildlife site or visit the
National Parks home
page. Also included are links to some local parks and reserves.
Park
Fees: A fee is charged for entry to Tasmanias national parks and all money
raised protects and maintains the parks for the future. You can get a pass
allowing entry for your car and passengers to all national parks, valid for up
to two months. There is also backpackers pass for pedestrians, cyclists and
motorcyclists. Passes are available through your Travel Agent or at major
national parks, Tasmanian Visitor Information Centres and Service Tasmania
outlets. |
