The town of Scottsdale is located in the north-east of Tasmania, on the Tasman
Highway, just 63 km from Launceston and 22 km south-east of the town of Bridport.
One of the main attractions in the town is the Forest Eco Centre whose focus is
forest-based tourism and recreation activites. The Eco Centre also incorporates
the Tasmania Visitor Information Network (TVIN) outlet, a cafe and retail outlet
that feature distinctive Tasmanian wood design.
