‘The Island State’
 If you have not taken the time to see Tasmania, then 2007 is the
year to come and visit our most mountainous and natural state with misty jagged
mountain skylines, that roll into valleys and gorges. There are
white sandy beaches and ancient rainforests. A place with a ‘living
heritage’ where you can feel the links with our violent but rich history;
where you can imagine that you have stepped back into time, a colonial
past of hardship and tragedy as reflected in the many convict settlements.
