Winter brings us the smell of wood smoke from cosy log fires, as you relax
tucked up inside one of the regions bed and breakfast establishments. Spring
is a popular time for many, and welcomes the Creswick Forestry Fiesta, a
celebration of the towns rich forestry heritage. The district has much to
offer the visitor with open plains and the smell of the bush. There are a myriad
of hamlets where you can find antique shops and wineries, as well as other
family attractions. You can also marvel at the extinct volcanoes and the mullock
heaps that stand as monument to our gold mining past. Source:
