Located in the Gippsland region of Victoria, the
Moe/Newborough is one of the four major urban centres of the Latrobe Valley. Moe
is a historic town, that was originally known as 'The Mowie' which is believed
to be derived from the local indigenous Kurnai tribe word for 'swamp land'.
