The historic township of Moyston is approximately 220 km north-west of
Melbourne, with Ararat just 15 km to the east. Like Ararat, the township rose
out of the goldfield mines in the region, although today, it is surrounded by

Park and the rugged Pyrenees Ranges, popular for the magnificent wines
produced along the Pyrenees wine trail.
