Located on the most southerly point of the Australian mainland, Port Albert
is just over 2 hours drive from Melbourne, accessible either down the South
Gippsland Coast or inland via Princess Freeway through Traralgon. Of the many
attractions in the region, you can enjoy Tarra Bulga National Park, Ninety Mile
Beach and the township of Yarram.
For those with their own boats, there is an
excellent all weather and all tides launching ramp located at Port Albert, the
area also supporting a professional fishing fleet. There are also hire boats
available and a charter boat operates for group bookings.
