The Victorian Alps (Victorian Alpine Region) encompasses a region that includes
Mount Bogong, Mount Beauty,
Mount Buffalo,
Mount Buller,
Falls Creek,
Dinner
Plain, Mount Hotham,
Tawonga and
Tawonga South, to name just a few.
The Victorian Alps and Snowy Mountains region contain some of the highest section of Australias Great
Dividing Range. the highest region in the Victorian Alps is Mount Bogong at
1,986 m, with Mount Kosciuszko at 2,228 m located in the south-western corner of
New South Wales.
