Wildlife Coast - Cities, Towns and Localities
For those into nature, the coastal route between Sale and Phillip Island offers a great drive stretching over 300 km, that will encompass five national and coastal parks, that include Wilsons Promontory and the Lakes National Park. Known as the ‘Wildlife Coast Nature Trail’, it is located at the most southerly point of the Australian mainland. Visitors can experience dunes, mangroves, inter-tidal mudflats, rainforest and coastal lake systems all in proximity of the salt air and wild ocean, as well a an array of wildlife including kangaroos, echidnas, wombats, and emus.

In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information. A brochure and map of the Wildlife Coast Nature Trail is available from the local visitor centre.
