For those into nature, the coastal route between Sale and Phillip Island
offers a great drive stretching over 300 km, that will encompass five national
and coastal parks, that include Wilsons Promontory and the Lakes National Park.
Known as the ‘Wildlife Coast Nature Trail’, it is located at the most southerly
point of the Australian mainland. Visitors can experience dunes, mangroves,
inter-tidal mudflats, rainforest and coastal lake systems all in proximity of
the salt air and wild ocean, as well a an array of wildlife including kangaroos,
