There are popular national parks and region from the Wilson’s Promontory, through to the Victorian Alpine country. There are other regions to savour including the Yarra Valley, Dandenong Ranges, Macedon Ranges, Murray River at Echuca, as well as the many villages and towns offering local arts and crafts, produce and festivals.

History can also be found throughout the state, with the Ballarat and Bendigo regions famous for their early gold rushes and the wonderful buildings, stories, and songs left behind as a legacy of these colonial settlements. These cities contributed a wealth not only in gold but history, to early Australia’s development and prosperity.
