Broome Bird Observatory is located on
the north-west coast of Australia on the shores of beautiful Roebuck Bay.
Established in 1988 as a research and education facility, over 310 bird species
have been recorded just 25 km from Broome. It is regarded as the most
significant site in Australia for shorebirds and among the top four in the
world. It has the greatest diversity of shorebird species of any site on the
planet and more than 800,000 birds visiting the area annually. The magnificent
coastal scenery of Roebuck Bay provides a stunning backdrop for these birds and

It is separated from the beach only by a cycleway which reaches past the town
centre, Busseltons famous 2km wooden jetty and the Underwater Observatory.

9 Swiss Chalets, comfortable open living, dining and lounge area with
TV & slow combustion wood fire places for winter warmth. The main bedroom has a
Queen size bed to sleep 2 people and in the 2nd bedroom a single with a trundle
to accommodate 2 people or a double bed to accommodate a 2nd couple.
9 Rammed Earth Chalet, comfortable open living, dining and lounge area with TV &
slow combustion wood fire places for winter warmth. The main bedroom has a Queen
size bed to accommodate 2 people and the 2nd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds
which accommodates 4 people or a double bed in the 2nd bedroom to accommodate 1
extra couple.
Powered and un-powered camp sites and caravan sites available.
Best spot to relax & explore the Margaret River Wine Region. Only 15min to well
