BBQ's are situated throughout the campsite.

Details:
Kooljaman is the Bardi Aboriginal name for Cape Leveque. It is the name
given for this multi award winning Aboriginal owned wilderness camp, jointly
owned by the two surrounding Aboriginal communities of Djarindjin and One Arm
Point, and located about 220 km north
of Broome. Access is either by air or 4WD (road transfers

Wellington Dam
Accommodation:
Honeymoon Pool, below the dam wall on the Collie Rivers offer shady, campsites
suitable for tents only. A total of 33 campsites including family, group and
light weight camping areas provided, all near the water.
Facilities: include BBQs* (wood
provided), picnic tables, flushing toilets, disabled access, taps (advisable to
boil the water). There are no showers or power.
Details: there are no bookings. The site is very popular during the
summer season. Swimming, fishing and canoeing all permitted. Anglers require a
Southwest Freshwater Angling Licence (under 16 years exempt).Cost: Fees apply
and will be collected on a daily basis by the CALM Rangers. Fees are cash only
and include GST.
Access: From the north or west - River Road (a gravel road) off Wellington
Weir Road. From the south - Falcon Road and Lennard Drive (a one way road for
travel in a westerly direction only).
* All fires will be banned during high or extreme fire danger.

Potters Gorge
Accommodation:
the campsite is suitable for both
tents and caravans.
Facilities:
gas and wood BBQs, toilets and change rooms. Disabled access. No showers or
power. An outdoor cold shower is available for rinsing off after swimming.
Swimming, canoeing and fishing all permitted. Easy access to the water for
children.
Details:
it is located on the main water body of Wellington Dam, in a shady jarrah and
marri forest setting. Cost: Fees apply
and will be collected on a daily basis by the CALM Rangers. Fees are cash only
and include GST.
Access: Turn off Coalfields Highway into Wellington Weir Road. Drive 10 km
along the bitumen road, and turn left at Tom Jones Drive. This leads to both the
campground and day use area.

Glen Mervyn Dam
Facilities:
there are limited facilities. Toilets are provided.
Details:
located 18 km south of Collie on the Collie Preston Road. Activities permitted
include waterskiing, swimming, fishing, picnicking and camping. |
Stockton Lake
Details:
an attractive location in jarrah
forest with wildflowers when in season. Once an open cut coal mine, it has since
been abandoned and has filled with water. A popular spot for boating and water
skiing. Although swimming is permitted, signs warn that people swim at their own
risk because, due to past mining activities, the water has a low pH level.
Prolonged exposure should be avoided.Cost: No bookings or camp fees. Basic
facilities include BBQ and long drop toilets.
Access: 7 km east of Collie, off the Collie-Darkan Road.
