Welcome to Mount Helena accommodation, a rural suburb that is part of the Mundaring
shire and region, Western Australia.
Once known as Lion Mill and renamed in
1924 to Mount Helena, the town early history is that of timber, the Lion Jarrah
Mill being one of the timber mills of those early years.
The Eastern Railway to York originally passed through the township. Today, it
is known as the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail, providing a walking and cycling
track, making it a great way to take in the native flora and fauna.
