Just 280 km north of Perth, is the coastal town of Jurien Bay, a popular
fishing destination, with long sandy beaches, offshore reefs and islands, that
provide home to crays and rock lobsters.
Besides fishing, some of the many
other popular activities that are enjoyed by locals and visitors include
swimming, snorkelling and diving, surfing and wind surfing, whale watching,
experiencing the spectacular seasonal native wildflower display, exploring the
surrounding national parks and nature reserves.
There is the Jurien Bay
Marina, which offers a modern marina and service facilities for the central west
coast fishing industry and for the recreational fishing boats.
