Located on the Great Northern Highway, Mount Magnet provides the perfect base for exploring the Gascoyne-Murchison region, especially those interested in gold prospecting and fossicking.

There is easy access to other nearby historic towns of Cue (80 km), Meekatharra (195 km), Sandstone (158 km) and Yalgoo (124 km).
