Located in Perth’s western suburbs, in the local government area of the City of Stirling, Scarborough is a coastal suburb named after the English beach resort of the same name. Scarborough is often spelt ‘Scarboro’ by the locals.

Located on Perth’s Sunshine Coast, Scarborough is considered one of Perth’s desirable addresses, with Scarborough Beach and beach front popular with beach goers, surfers and tourists.

With the popularity of surfing, there is the local Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club (SSLSC). Scarbourhg Beach has also hosted the Australian national lifesaving competition.
 

There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs catering for the relaxed lifestyle. In addition to the ocean foreshore, Scarborough has several parks and reserves.
