Two rivers run through the heart of the South West region of Western Australia.
It is this region of rolling hills, beautiful forests and coastline,
where history meets today, an region that is known as Warren Blackwood; a name
that is derived from these two rivers the Warren River and Blackwood River. Sometimes
referred to as the lower South West, four shires make up the Warren Blackwood
region:
Boyup
Brook, Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Manjimup and
Nannup. Within 3 hours of
Perth, there is plenty to see and do, it is the perfect place to holiday and stay. There are a number of adventure activities that can be had, from canoeing to
mountain biking, or you can enjoy the rugged nature of the national parks such
as the Beedelup, DEntrecasteraux, Gloucester, Shannon, Walpole-Nornalup and
Warren.
